The Hamdi Foundation advances scientific understanding of breast cancer treatment in three main ways:

01Research into breast cancer surgery. We particularly wish to further expertise in the functional and aesthetic aspects of breast reconstruction surgery, as both are so important for patients.
02Grants: scholarships and fellowships to allow promising young surgeons to complete part of their training in Belgium under Professor Hamdi. International grant recipients will bring the benefits of this valuable experience to their home countries when they return.
